Using a cinematic courtroom-drama framework intertwined with a visual biblical narrative, the series highlights the unity of God's plan—from the Torah and the Prophets to their fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
The Story
Meet Emit Wright
The story follows Emit Wright, a former seminarian turned New York prosecutor whose meteoric success leaves him spiritually restless. Responding to the promptings of the Holy Spirit, he leaves the New York prosecutor's office and returns to New Orleans as a defense attorney for the poor and marginalized. Part theologian and part lawyer, Emit draws upon his Catholic faith and deep scriptural knowledge to defend those most in need.

The Case of Dr. Anna Geisel
In Season One, Emit takes on the case of Dr. Anna Geisel, a renowned Jewish Scriptures scholar accused of murdering a former Nazi assailant. Set in the historic French Quarter—where Christian and Jewish histories intersect—Emit confronts antisemitism and modern Marcionism in the courtroom while revealing the Jewish roots of the New Testament.
